Congratulations to the winner of December's lyrics contest, ryanmonner.  I had about 30 lyrics I was considering and then narrowed it down from there to 10, then 3, then this one.  The reason I chose it is because it had some interesting images and also a little bit of rhythm, which made it easier to turn it into a song.  I did end up making quite a few edits to the song in the end - although I don't anticipate this happening as much in the future.  I was working without my recording studio on this (I just used a laptop) so it was a challenge but one that I enjoyed.  Probably the biggest challenge was vocals since I just used the microphone on my iPod to record vocals.   He [ ... ]

Just had the album covers to "1&1" and "I Drive Fast" done by Mary Simms.  She's a very talented artist using a simple hand-drawn technique that works very well for music.  Check out some more of her stuff on deviantART.
