Memorial Beach is a "band" from London, UK.  They were named after a-ha's 1992 album, Memorial Beach.  In 2010, the band released their first official single "1&1" and have just released another single called "I Drive Fast".  In the case of Memorial Beach, the "band" is made up of not only musician(s), but a large community of lyricists and other artists who post and promote their work on the official forum.  The goal of Memorial Beach is to blur the line between fans of the band and the band itself.
